He was actually charged with stealing some footballs, and I suppose it is possible that this jury was upset about that crime. Remotely possible.
Still, note to self: if acquitted of double murder in controversial case, avoid writing book called "If I Did It." Committing any other crime during remainder of life also bad idea.
