First they tell you kids can't ride in the trunk, now they get upset about having them ride on the roof. What's a mother to do?
Police in Albertville, Alabama, arrested a 37-year-old woman on Sunday and charged her with endangering the welfare of a child, apparently just because she was driving down the highway with her 13-year-old daughter sitting in a cardboard box on the roof of her minivan. The woman explained that the box was too big to fit inside the van, and that the girl was inside the box to hold it down.
The woman told officers there was nothing to worry about because she had fastened the box to the top of the van with a coat hanger.
